quinoa multigrain waffles
I haven't seen posts from Burnt Apple in a long time! Glad she posted these Quinoa Multigrain Waffles recipe. I just found out about quinoa, and I love how good it is. I might try to make these one day!

Congratulations to the featured blogs!

What have I been doing?

I have a giveaway still running for the Nautilus Cloche pattern from Creative Threads by Leah. Enter here!

I'm testing another Nautilus design from Creative Threads by Leah. This time it's a scarf pattern!

The market bag is halfway done. I had to redo the stripes. I had to put the bottom on the floor to take a good picture. This bag is HUGE!

Nautilus Cloche pattern from Creative Threads by Leah - Pattern Review and Giveaway

I had an opportunity to be one of the testers for the Nautilus Cloche pattern from Creative Threads by Leah. At first, I admit I was concerned about the difficulty. This is the first time I formally tested a pattern. Plus with the busy Easter weekend, I thought I didn't have the time to finish this. But I tried the pattern anyways, and I'm so glad I did!

I received the pattern on Monday, and I started working on the spiral. The hat builds from the bottom to the top, which was not usual for me. I had to restart the hat once, but when I got in the swing of it, the pattern was simple to follow. I finished the rest of the hat in 2 days, so it took lass than a week to put together.

What have I been doing?

I love it when I can check a few things off of my to-do list!
  • I am a pattern tester for Creative Threads by Leah, and I finished my first project! I was so excited when she used my picture as her feature!
I am in the process of writing a blog entry on this (blog post written!), and there will be a giveaway to win a copy of the pattern for yourself! The giveaway is already posted on my Facebook page.
  • My Twine Easter Baskets were a success. I can't wait to make some more!
  • A market bag is in the works this week!
  • Sadly, I did not get the job I applied for a few weeks ago. There's always something else.

Now it's your turn! What have you been doing this week?
