What's Up, the blog for itsashort.com, shared a post about the Oscars and the short films that won it big. The Oscars were the only award show I watched this year, so I knew what the writer was talking about. I love short films. It takes talent for someone to convey deep emotions in a few minutes compared to the 2-3 hour box office hits. I also love documentaries, and any story that shows the trials and struggles of living pulls my heart. These were definitely great wins, and I'm glad I got to hear about them at the Oscars. I'm also glad I looked at this blog and website, and I shared it with my boyfriend whom I know will want to contribute!

What have I been doing?
I took a few more pictures of my garden, and I am working on a blog post right now (well, after I finish this post).
I also have 2 of the same shawls in the making, and I am writing a modified pattern from the Lion Brand version to post next week. I hope to have both shawls done by then. Finally!
