I am loving this post from Blogging While Nursing's Life Through my Lens Thursday series. These pictures of Manhattan Chinatown are so great, especially in black and white. The shops remind me of the vendors in Chile when my family and I went to visit my brother. It makes me want to go back, but it also makes me want to explore my city. My boyfriend and I love to find local events to go to on the weekends.

What have I been doing?
This is the first newborn hat I am making, a safari hat. It may be a little wide, but hopefully he will grow into it. I am following a Red Heart pattern for toddler and child sizes, with my own modifications for a newborn hat. I have a few more rows left to finish the brim.
Next will be Thing 1 Thing 2 hats for my friend's twins. I might follow the pattern from Repeat Crafter Me with some changes.
